1. Build your snowman in Brooklyn 2. Take required photos (final + progress) 3. Find the pinned Snowman Showdown post on: • Instagram • Facebook (@myfootsoldiers) 4. Reply/comment with your photo on the pinned post 5. Optional boost: tag your neighborhood or block name Entries are only accepted on Instagram and Facebook

• Competition Opens: Sunday, January 25 at 2:00 PM • Competition Closes: Monday, January 26, 2026 • Voting Ends: January 31, 2026 • Winners Announced: Early February 2026

• Likes must be on Foot Soldiers’ official IG or FB page • Minimum 25 likes required to qualify • Any entry reaching 25 likes triggers an in-person verification visit by Foot Soldiers • Reposts are allowed, but votes must occur on Foot Soldiers’ page • If an entry appears on both platforms: Likes are NOT combined Only the single highest-like count is used • Only three winners total across all platforms • Bots, fake accounts, or manipulation = disqualification Community Boost (Optional) Tag your neighborhood or block name • The neighborhood with the most valid entries may be featured on Foot Soldiers’ pages

• Competitors must DM Foot Soldiers the address of the snowman • Foot Soldiers will visit and verify any snowman that reaches at least 25 likes • Address will NOT be posted publicly • Foot Soldiers staff will: Visit and photograph the snowman Take a verification photo with the competitor(s) • Competitors must submit progress photos showing at least three stages of the build • No building numbers required in public-facing photos Failure to complete verification = disqualification.

We protect your address while verifying authenticity. To qualify, entries must meet ALL requirements: • Snowman built during or after the snowfall • Built in Brooklyn • Photo taken January 25 or 26, 2026 • Photo must be: Time-stamped, OR Include a same-day newspaper • Competitor(s) must appear in the photo • NO AI-generated or altered images

Winners have 30 days from announcement to submit: • Government-issued photo ID • Proof of Brooklyn residency or organizational presence Winner's Payout Options • Cash App • Zelle • Check Tax Notice • Cash prizes are taxable income • Winners must complete IRS Form W-9 • Foot Soldiers may issue Form 1099-NEC where required • Nonprofit winners will provide W-9 or EIN confirmation and receive funds as a donation • Foot Soldiers does not provide tax advice. Winners are responsible for their own reporting. Public announcement will occur before payout.
